Nags Specials or Napintas Arabia Gift Shop is an online store that was founded by a Filipino expatriate who wanted to share their love and appreciation for their homeland with their fellow kabayans in Saudi Arabia. The name of the store comes from the Ilocano word “napintas” which means “beautiful” or “lovely”. The store aims to provide quality products and services that reflect the beauty and culture of the Philippines1.
The store started as a small business that sold souviners, perfumes, and cosmetics to their friends and relatives. They soon realized that there was a high demand for Filipino products and services among the OFWs in Saudi Arabia, especially those who wanted to send gifts and pasalubongs to their loved ones in the Philippines. They decided to expand their product range and offer more items such as watches, cap, clothes, accessories, electronics, abaya, uniform and more.
They also partnered with local companies to provide fast and reliable delivery services within Saudi Arabia. They also developed their own website and Facebook page to reach more customers and provide them with a convenient and hassle-free shopping experience. They also created a chatbot that can answer queries and help customers place their orders.
